Ainfix Desktop is a dedicated desktop application engineered for AI developers, coding agents, and teams. It natively supports fetching routing configurations from Ainfix and provides one-click proxy setup for Codex, Claude Code, and ChatGPT Desktop.

🚀 Quickstart & Setup​

Step 1: Install and Launch​

  • macOS: Double-click the downloaded .dmg file, then drag the Ainfix icon into your Applications folder.
  • Windows: Run the .exe installer and follow the setup wizard.

Step 2: Log In and Connect​

  1. Open the Ainfix client.
  2. Sign in with your Ainfix platform credentials, or bind via an API Key generated in your Ainfix Console.
  3. Once connected, the client displays your available balance, model count, and connection latency.

Step 3: Use with Coding Agents​

In the Agent Integration section, choose your preferred tool (such as Codex or Claude Code), click Configure, and start making LLM calls through Ainfix.

❓ Troubleshooting​

1. macOS: "App cannot be opened because developer cannot be verified"?​

This is macOS Gatekeeper's standard verification prompt for newly downloaded software:

  1. Open System Settings -> Privacy & Security;
  2. Scroll to the Security section where it notes "Ainfix was blocked from use because it is not from an identified developer";
  3. Click Open Anyway and enter your system password.

2. Windows: SmartScreen warning?​

  1. Click More info on the popup dialog;
  2. Click Run anyway to proceed with installation.
